The CSAC, through their rep Bill Douglas, announced that Alexandre “Pequeno” Nogueira has tested positive for the anabolic agent Boldenone. Alexandre last participated and lost to Jason Aldo on the WEC card June 1.

UFC 86 salaries are out and both Forrest and Quinton were paid like champions. Another positive note for the payouts is the lack of 3k/3k fighters (3 to fight, 3 to win). The lowest paid fighter on the card was $8,000.

The action was constant throughout the fight with Griffin using effective leg kicks and Quinton stepping in with quick short hooks and uppercuts as both battled it out for 25 full minutes.

Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia, UFC and WEC Fighter, was released from Federal custody and cleared of all charges, according to a Yahoo report. Garcia has maintained his innocence throughout the process of his arrest and arraignment and goes as far to say that he was guilty by association. The problem started three years when a friend that was leaving his house, was busted for an illegal substance.

Following up on a previously reported rumor, The Ultimate Fighter, Season 7 finalist Jesse Taylor will make his UFC debut against C.B. Dollaway at Ultimate Fight Night 14 on July 19th. “Affliction Banned”, the greatest MMA event ever staged hit New York City’s Times Square last week, as the faces of ten of the sports biggest stars, including Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko (27-1) and his opponent Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia (24-4), filled a billboard along Broadway. All will appear on the July 19th event at Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and distributed live on Pay-Per-View.
